He was predeceased by: his son Phillip Anthony "Tony" Davis; his mother Elizabeth Cox; and his grandfather William H. Cox. He is survived by: his wife Jean Davis; his sister Sandra Dodds of Texas; his grandchildren, Britney Stocking (Christopher) of Jonesboro, Elizabeth Kinder (Jason) of Jonesboro and Moose Anthony Davis of New York City; and his great grandchildren, Talon Stocking of Russellville, Brantley Stocking of Jonesboro, Briggs Stocking of Jonesboro, Jonah Kinder of Jonesboro, Lilah Kinder of Jonesboro and Jessie Kinder of Jonesboro.

Visitation was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church (1107 E Highland Dr, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
