He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Lee and Elizabeth Anne Jennings. He is survived by: his daughters, Ashlee Elmore (David) and Allison Grant of Paragould; and his grandchildren, Willa Grant, Harrison Grant and Amelia Elmore.

David was an active supporter of the American Cancer Society and Camp Sunshine.
