He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Dawson and Edith Dawson. He is survived by: his children, Chris Dawson (Sarah) and Courtney Hilgeford (Bob); his grandchildren, Conrad Hilgeford and Ellie Dawson; and his siblings, Michael Dawson, Shari Smith and Karen Brooks (Byran).
