It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Marion Joiner (Jonesboro, Arkansas), born in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, who passed away on September 2, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Calvin Joiner and Charlene Rains Joiner; and his brothers, Roy Calvin Joiner, Jr., Terry B. Davis and Richard J. Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Teddlie-Joiner; his children, Dr. Michael B. Joiner of Swarthmore, PA, Timothy L. Joiner of Wilmington, DE and Rachel M. Joiner; his granddaughter Anais Lazardeux of Rochester, NY.; his siblings, Ronald L. Davis (Nancy), John R. Davis (Sandra), June Romine (Leroy), Brenda Russell (Charlie), Sheila Cates (Phillip), Danetta Howard, Tammy Davis and Danetta Cates; his stepsons, Thomas (Susan), Robert (Barbara), Donald (Sherrie) and David Freudiger; and his stepgranddaughter Kelly (Ann Baker) of Rector, AR. He is also survived by nine other step-grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
