Carrol Dewayne Goodrich Obituary
Carrol Dewayne Goodrich, 84, of Jonesboro, Arkansas, passed away on October 23, 2024 at NEA Baptist Hospital. He was born on April 22, 1940 in Dundee, Mississippi to Calvin Woodrow and Lena Mae Isom Goodrich. He was a member of the New Haven Church of Christ and worked for J & R Concrete and had his own body shop business. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gun shows, and fleemarkets.
Survivors include; his wife of 61 years: Verna Goodrich of the home; one son: Derick Goodrich (Tammi) of Bono, Arkansas; one daughter: Natalie Keene (Mark) of Nolensville, Tennessee; three sisters: Betty Hancock of St. Louis, Missouri, Sandi Brewer (Danny) of Jonesboro, Arkansas, and Kim Goodrich of Jonesboro, Arkansas; four grandchildren: Kaleb Keene, Lacey Keene, Ian Goodrich, and Mia Goodrich; and a host of other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by; his parents: Calvin and Lena Goodrich; two brothers: Levon Goodrich and Steve Goodrich; and one sister: Sue Mitchell.
Pallbearers: Blake Goad, Brad King, Richard Warren, Derick Goodrich, Mark Keene, and Rusty Blanks. Honorary pallbearers: Ian Goodrich, Kaleb Keene, Norman Jennings, Gary Tate, Steve Stoker, Joe Warren, and Mark Stoker.
Funeral services will be at New Haven Church of Christ, 2607 Highway 351, Jonesboro, Arkansas 72405 on October 26, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. with Joseph Hembrey officiating. Burial will follow at Rutherford Cemetery, 4315 CR 780, Jonesboro, Arkansas. The family will receive visitors at the church on October 26, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m.
