It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Richards of Jonesboro, Arkansas, born in Tyronza, Arkansas, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lavell Newcomb and Ruth Newcomb; her husband Willie Richards; her son Mark Richards; and her siblings, Billy Joe Newcomb, George Newcomb and Lavern Newcomb.
She is survived by: her grandchild Devon Wheeley (BJ); her great grandchildren, Wrenley Wheeley and Calum Wheeley; and her siblings, Jerry Newcomb (Gale), Phillip Newcomb (Angie) and Kay Tedder. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
