She was predeceased by: her parents, Oralee McBride Taylor and Robert Herschel Taylor; her foster-parents, Bernard and Pauline Shepard; and her brother Clarence Durfee.
She is survived by: her husband John Charles Ward; her children, Paul Hindman (Stacy), Kevin Hindman (Gina) and Christie Bradley; her grandchildren, Ethan Hindman (Sydney), Jordan Hindman, Austin Hindman, Tyler Bradley, Dillan Bradley and Caroline Romano; her great grandchild Elias Hindman; and her siblings, Ray Taylor, Glenn Taylor (Ellen), Danny Taylor (Kathy), Gene Taylor, Larry Taylor, Pat Taylor, Kathy Riley Taylor, Louise McCorkle, Lisa Shepard, Winston Blanchard, Cleveland Blanchard, Ray Blanchard, Carl Blanchard, Diane Williams and Audrey Williams.
