He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredlene Copeland (Tribble) and James Copeland; and his brothers, James Vincent Copeland and John Copeland. He is survived by: his wife Sherry Dacus; his children, Alex Copeland (Heather), Kristen Franklin (Chris) and Jennifer Vaughn (David); his siblings, Henrietta Roberts (Ken), Vickie Croll (Jeff) and Ted Copeland (Veronica); his grandchildren, Kyla Foster, Addison, Baylen, Rhett Franklin, Liam, Mason Copeland, Spencer, Raylee, Audric and Gwen; his father-in-law Carroll Dacus; and his brother-in-law Billy Dacus (Carla). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Emerson Memorial Chapel (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
