He is survived by: his son Joaquin Barrera of Paragould; his grandmother Consuelo Muñoz of Jonesboro; his brothers, Edgar Barrera of Fort Lauderdale and Joshua Barrera of Jonesboro; his aunts and uncles, Jose Ramon Muñoz (Jacqueline), Jose Guadalupe Muñoz (Ana Laura), Daniel Muñoz (Maria Guadalupe), Juan Gerardo Muñoz (Olga), Alma Muñoz, Blanca Rodriguez (Pedro), Maria L. Alejo (Jose), Sanjuana Garza (Jose), Hilda Pacheco (Jose Luis), Norma Muñoz (Rufino) and Maria Consuelo Muñoz White (Dustin); his cousins, Greg Muñoz, Ana Muñoz-Jones (Andrew), Nick Mata, Jessie Rodriguez, Jose Muñoz, Brittney Muñoz-Barham (Jared), Joe Pacheco, Johnny Rodriguez, Daniella Alejo, Cynthia Pacheco, Jose Garza, Aracely Muñoz, Brianna Pacheco, Daniel Muñoz, Gabriel Mata, Andy Garza, Dayanara Alejo, Juan Jose Muñoz, Gerardo Muñoz, Jose Alejo, Idalia Muñoz, Mary Muñoz, Alexander Rodriguez, Mia Mata, Isabella Mata, Abby Muñoz, Camila Muñoz, Leonardo Cruz, Jared Rodriguez, Gabby White, Alexa White, Lola White, Julia Garza, Emma Cruz and Alfredo Muñoz; his nephews, Julian Jones and Santiago Jones; and his niece Lucia Rodriguez.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Emerson Memorial Chapel (1629 E Nettleton Ave, Jonesboro, AR 72401). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
