She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Johnson and Ethel Lee Johnson; her husband Elijah Anderson; her daughter Doris Heard; and her siblings, Leroy Johnson, Jane Johnson, Bernice Johnson and Dorothy Weeden.

She is survived by: her children, Larry Anderson (Alberta), George Williams (Beverly), Ralph Anderson (Jacqueline), Joe Nathan Anderson (Katie), Johnny Brown (Annie), Jo Ann Morris (Lonniel) and Elaine Jones; her siblings, Mary Francis Johnson, Earnestine Johnson, Bettye Hyde and Roosevelt Johnson (Willie Mae); her granddaughter Dimp; her goddaughter Brenda Newsom; and her friends, Laquita Price, Andrew, Dora Smith, Mittie Carter and Annie Henry. She is also survived by many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; many great-great- grandchildren.
