James Barnes Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Barnes (Joiner, Arkansas), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmy Barnes and Willie Mae Barnes; his siblings, George Jones, William Barnes, Ervin Wiley, Norman Wiley, Larry Joe Wiley, Leroy Jackson, Nina Brunson, Claudia Walker and Nylon Barlow; his sister-in-law Beulah Lee Morris; and also Chester Morris.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Barnes; his children, Beveline Wilson (Ricky), Mikel Jones (Simone), James Edward Barnes Jr., Jackie Ray Graves, Terry Bonds, Carla Newberry (Ray), April Rucker (Laveil), L. C. Kennedy Jr., Nina Kennedy and LaShuna Jones; his brothers-in-law, Earnest Morris (Deloris), Craig Morris (Janet) and Larry Morris; his sisters, Lucille Perry, Eloise Tinner and Earlean Blaylock; his sisters-in-law, Loretta Robinson and Vernita Stockman (James); his granddaughters, Ka'Mil and Tylah; and his friends, Piper, PeeWee, Rodney and Linda.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at 512 Whitaker St, Joiner, AR 72350. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
