She was predeceased by: her father Fred Cooney. She is survived by: her mother Eddie Mae Carter Cooney (Elton Grant, Sr.) of Blytheville, AR; her children, Elton Grant Jr. of Jonesboro, AR, Crystal Grant of Gosnell, AR, Marci Grant of Gosnell, AR and Jasmine Grant of Gosnell, AR; her brothers, Hosea Cooney of Joiner, AR and Robert Cooney of Joiner, AR; her uncle James Cooney of Rockville, MD; and her aunt Ida Nunn of Joiner, AR. She is also survived by six grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The Governor and the Arkansas Funeral Director Association, due to the COVID-19 virus, all public gathering of more than 10 people held indoors are prohibited.
