She was predeceased by: her parents, Horace Rozel and Lillie Marie Bennett; her husband Alfred Barksdale Cissell; her sons, Ronnie Cissell and Ricky Cissell; and her siblings, H. R. Bennett Jr., Francis Davis, Vivian Hartson and Joan Franks.
She is survived by: her children, Danny Cissell (LaVonda), Al Cissell (Tammy), Timothy Cissell and Angel Cissell; and her sister Helen Elrod. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren.
