It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vera Mae Williams of Johnson, Arkansas, who passed away on November 11, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Beulah Patton Williams and Anderson Williams; her sister Veda Williams Locke; her brothers-in-law, Gordon Oliver and Russell Locke; her great-nephews, Dustin Christopher Locke and Noah Anderson Williams; and also Anna Elizabeth Bubendorf.
She is survived by: her siblings, Ena Williams Oliver of Galesburg, Roger Williams (Eleanor) and Wendell Williams (Rebecca); her aunt Juanita Ferrell of Springdale; and her nieces and nephews, Judith Miller, Faith Burdick, Elizabeth Norvell, Jo Andrews, Pearl Martin, Charis Ferryman, Sarah Russback, Alice Mills, Martha Williams, Martin Locke, Stephen Locke, Jeremy Oliver, Charles Locke, John Williams, Shawn Oliver, Alan Locke and George Williams. She is also survived by thirty-six great nieces and nephews, forty-five great-great nieces and nephews, one great-great-great niece, and numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clary Funeral Home - Alton (102 Vine St, Alton, MO 65606). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Many Springs Cemetery.
