He was predeceased by: his parents, Harley E. Barnett and Alvena Barnett (Knauss); his sister Ella Mae; and his nephew Mark Barnett. He is survived by: his wife Joan L. Barnett (Petersen-Lafrenz); his stepsons, Todd (Angie) and Chad Lafrenz (Mary); his grandchildren, Emilie, Maria, Hannah, Dylan (Alexandra), Jake and Cody; and his great grandchildren, Sebastian, Kayden and Benjamin.
