She was predeceased by: her parents, Dillard Anderson and Stella Anderson (Neal); her son Jerry Ray Bates; and her siblings, Van Avery Anderson, Paul Howard Anderson and Frankie Louise Anderson Lambert.
She is survived by: her husband John Bates; her daughter Connie Pearce (Richard); her daughter-in-law Donna Jean Bates; her grandchildren, Clifton Pearce (Angel), Jonathon Bates (Trina), Chris Pearce (Benita), Jason Bates (Pam) and Cameron Pearce (Kimberly); and her great grandchildren, Kailee, John, Rebel, Joshua, Zanlynn, Zander and Olyvia.
