He is survived by: his wife Virginia Norwood; his daughter Trudy Brents of Jerusalem; his grandchildren, Katie Hartman (Patrick) of St. Vincent and Strap Brents (Leigh Ann) of Jerusalem; his great grandchildren, Jennifer, Anamarie, Caroline Hartman, Kolton and Audie Brents; and his brothers, Mack Norwood of Jerusalem and Kenneth Norwood of Jerusalem.
