It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Ethel Emerson (Jerusalem, Arkansas), who passed away on January 28, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Elizabeth; her husband Willie Emerson; her parents, Lolan Godfrey and Zola Godfrey; her brothers, Dorval Godfrey and Gordon Ray Godfrey; and her parents-in-law, Archie and Ora Emerson.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard of Renton and Billy of Florence; and her siblings, David Godfrey of Benton, Eulaine Blumenthal of Renton and Jakie Sue Pack of Alread. She is also survived by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
