She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Thomas and Iva Thomas; her husband Ibrie Jeno Thompson; her brothers, Ira Thomas, Jr. (Pauline Thomas), Billy Ray Thomas (Edna Mae), Louis Thomas (Mary Anna Thomas) and Carlton Thomas (Kay Louise Thomas); and her grandsons, Christopher Steven Thompson and Matthew Brannon Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Ibrie Stephen Thompson (Taresa Thompson), Bradley Michael Thompson (Cindy Thompson) and Lynneah Dianne Thompson Fryer; and her grandchildren, Angela Bull, Lori Harrell (Keith Harrell), Lanie Jorgenson (Josh Jorgenson) and Mary Barber (Daniel Barber). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
