We are sad to announce that on August 29, 2021, at the age of 82, Katie Jean Lyle Blake in Jefferson, Arkansas, born in Star City, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. D. "Shorty" Lyle and Virginia Nell Fullbright Lyle; her aunt Anna Lee; and her close friend Linda Beth Crowder Kervin. She is survived by: her husband Vernon Blake of Star City; her sons, Johnathan "Spanky" Blake (Julie) of Star City and Vernon Lyle Blake (Tammy) of Morrilton; her brother W. D. "Mickey" Lyle, Jr. of Grapevine, TX; her granddaughter Kimberlee Anne Koonce of Pine Bluff; and her friend Bill Kervin.
