As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Joann may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Huey Ashcraft and Maedean Thornton Ashcraft; her husbands, Arlis Stone and James Prather; and her son Dewayne Stone.
She is survived by: her close friend Russell Ault of Redfield; her children, Tammy (Mark James), Beverly (Mike Reeves), Angie (Brad Valentine) and Jay; her daughter-in-law Karen Stone of Redfield; and her stepson-in-law Jerry Maldonado of Texas. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Robinson & Fuller White Hall Funeral Chapel (8302 Dollarway Rd, White Hall, AR 71602). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
