He is survived by: his wife Brenda Trussell McGathy of Star City; his children, Rick McGathy (Renae) of Anniston, AL, Brian McGathy (Tracy) of Villa Rica, GA, Stacey Gragg (John) of Lincoln, Anthony Owen (Michele) of Bryant and Brandi West (Brannon) of Star City; his brother Charles McGathy (Goldie) of Anniston, AL; his grandchildren, Kristin Smith (Michael), Chason McGathy, Dakota McKeown, William Owen, Harper Owen, Addilyn Hopkins and J. T. West; and his great grandchildren, Emmet Smith and Zander McKeown.
