He is survived by: his wife Betty Raulston Roberson Payne; his stepchildren, Diana Loyd (Gary) and Tim Roberson (Sammie); his son Chet Payne (Cheri); his grandsons, T. J. Branham, Ty Roberson, Blain Roberson and J. R. Payne; and his siblings, Marion Billingsley, Sharon Callahan and Jimmy Payne. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
