He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Carter and Anna Carter (Corley). He is survived by: his brother Joe Carter of Jasper; his niece Tina Gilmore (Patrick) of Rockwall, TX; his great-nephew Jack Carter; his cousins, Pam Carter of Jasper, Monica Gunelic of Fayetteville, AR, Heather Carter of Jasper, Jake Carter of Jasper and Joseph Carter of Jasper; and his close friend Gary Weibye.
