He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave-Vinson Smith and Addie Smith (Martin); his brother Buster; his sister-in-law Donna Sue Smith; his brother Elmer; and his sisters-in-law, Arvella Smith and Linda Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Ellen Smith; his children, Leisa Milam (Todd), Shawn Smith (Desiree) and Nathan Smith; his siblings, Luell Smith, Robert Smith (Connie) and Imogene Madewell; his sister-in-law Rilda Smith; and his close friends, Roy Clayborn, Clinton Looper, Rusty Martin, Kenny Greene, Elmo Floyd, James Compton, Bob Breedlove and Jerry Humphrey. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Coffman Funeral Home of Jasper (410 Court St, Jasper, AR 72641). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
