It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Louise Voshell of Jasper, Arkansas, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on December 24, 2022, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Smothers and Laura Smothers (Fisher); and her siblings, Doris Sherer, Shirley Smothers and Loren "Kenny" Smothers.
She is survived by: her husband Calvin Voshell; her children, Rich, Mike, Steve, Tim Voshell, Deb Voshell, Lori Nixon, Kim Luper, Robin Harlan and Lea McFadden; her sisters, Laura "Lea" Scheffler and Rhonda McGriff; and her friend Janet. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; and many in-laws, extended family.
