He was predeceased by: his brother Greg McCalman; and his grandparents, Laverne, Cotton Phillips, Reavie and James McCalman.
He is survived by: his mother Sherry Gillespie of Jasper; and his brother Tim McCalman of Alabama. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.
