We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2023, at the age of 82, James Cody Sr. of Jasper, Arkansas, born in Harlan, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Edgar and Leona Rose Barnett Cody; his wife Shirley; his siblings, Sandra Batchlor (Paul) of Florida and Jackie Cody (Robin) of Tennessee; his grandmother Terry Cody; his daughter Vera Ann Cody; and his grandson Jackie Nash, Jr..
He is survived by: his children, James Allen Cody, Jr. of Florida, Lonnie Lee Cody (Cheryl) of Tennessee, Cletus Gene Cody of Arkansas, Gloria Jean Rogers of Arkansas and Donna Sue Millican (Shane) of Arkansas, Peggy; and his great grandchild Austin McGuire. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren along with many extended family and friends.
