He was loved and cherished by many people including: his sister Linda Jackson; his wife Eileen Wheeler; his sons, Mark Wheeler of Opello, Tom Wheeler (Marlis) of Jacksonville and James Wheeler of Cabot, Arkansas; and his sister Mary Benton of Madison. He was also cherished by eight grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 20 great-great-grandchildren.
