With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Velma Lorraine Youngblood of Jacksonville, Arkansas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Velma left this world on February 12, 2025 at the age of 76, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Roy and Claudia Tinkle (Leary); her husband John Henry Youngblood, Sr.; her children, Johnny Allen Youngblood, Dorothey Bratton and John Henry Youngblood Jr.; and her brother Jimmy Tinkle.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Dare (Dianne) of Jacksonville, Melissa Dare of Little Rock, Robert of Little Rock and Kenny Youngblood of Little Rock; her grandchildren, Robyn Zehender, Robert Youngblood Jr., Scott Wilder, Maegan Sullivan (Nick), Mandy Scoggin, Johnny Lynn Burton, Halle Eddings (Weldon), John Youngblood III, Rebekah Dare, Brittany Wilbanks and Chay Bautista (Antonio); and her brother Dennis Tinkle (Katy) of Little Rock. She is also survived by twenty-one great grandchildren; one great great grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (1504 N J P Wright Loop Rd, Jacksonville, AR 72076). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Arkansas Memorial Gardens (8507 AR-161, North Little Rock, AR 72117).
