He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Ray Hibbs and Bettie Ruth Hibbs; and his brothers, Larry Ray Hibbs, Gary A. Hibbs and Glen A. Hibbs.
He is survived by: his sons, Richard S. Hibbs Jr. and Gary A. Hibbs; his grandchildren, Marie Brown (Taylor) and Matthew Brown; and his siblings, Timothy D. Hibbs, Donna L. Rose (Hibbs) and Susan A. Pope (Hibbs).
