It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lois Janette Causey of Jacksonville, Arkansas, who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladney Phillips and Mary Phillips (Parrot); her former husband Thomas Fredrick Causey; and her grandson Jonathon Davis. She is survived by: her husband First Baptist Church Jacksonville; her children, Thomas Causey (Christi) of Cabot, Melissa Echols (Ron) of Jonesboro, Melanie Bouwknegt of Cabot and Michelle Johnston (Joseph) of Jacksonville; and her grandchildren, Kristy, Cassie, Mitchell, Nick, Mikey, Kristin, Candace, Kathryn, Jonathan, Kyle, Greyson, Jessica and Amber. She is also survived by great great grandchildren along with a host of extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (1504 N J P Wright Loop Rd, Jacksonville, AR 72076). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery (1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72120).
