He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Mallett and Viva Mallett (Harris); his siblings, Junior Mallett, Jimmy Ray Mallett, Bobby Joe Mallett, Ritchie Wayne Mallet and Linda Sue Mallett; his nephews, Alton Jay Mallett and Royce Lee Mallett; and his close friend Cody Lane.

He is survived by: his children, Tammy Renee Raborn (Mallett) and John Garrison; and his siblings, Ricky Mallett, Vicky Ann Mallett and Shirley Jean Mallett.
