He is survived by: his children, James Banks (Tracy), Jeff Banks (Janay) and Dr. Lashun Bland; and his siblings, Lawrence Banks, Hubert Banks, Tommy Lee Banks, Joyce Banks and Mary Banks. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
