He was predeceased by: his parents, Priscilla Platt (Brown) and Joseph E. Platt; and his sister Amanda S. Platt. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Platt (Lievsay); his son George W. Platt (Tawnya Platt); his grandchildren, Oliver and Allison Platt; his great-niece Amanda R. McGonigal; his brother Joseph A. Platt (Tammy Platt); and his niece Priscilla A. McGonigal. He is also survived by extended family members and many good friends.
