Darlene Avery Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2025, at the age of 82, Darlene Avery of Jacksonville, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Henry Jones and Frances Marie Carter Jones; her husband Gordon Avery; and her siblings, Clare Towne, Edith Wortley and Collin.
She is survived by: her children, George Avery, Michele Nigro (David), Kraig Avery, Russell Avery (Deborah) and Tim Stillson; her grandchildren, Cameron, Jennifer, Misty, Lacey, Ashley and Tim; her niece Leah Cox (Steve); and her nephew David Wortley.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home (1504 N J P Wright Loop Rd, Jacksonville, AR 72076). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery (1501 W Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, AR 72120).
