He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Wood and Lavelle Wood; his former wife Linda Jean "Jeannie" Wood; his sons, Steve and Joey Wood; his grandson Boone Hogan; his siblings, Betty Williams Johnston and Ronnie Wood; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Padgett and Tina Rogers.
He is survived by: his wife Loyeta Allen Rico Wood; his children, Gail Stickney (Phillip) of Fayetteville, Kim Allen (Neil) of Maumelle and Kenny Wood (Connie) of Heber Springs; his daughter-in-law Pam Wood of Cabot; his sister Barbara Elkins of Eupora, Mississippi; his cousin Larry Wood of Stewart, Mississippi; his stepchildren, Melissa Faucett (John) of Little Rock and Doug Rico (Linda) of Heber Springs; his sisters-in-law, Gereda Torres (Rudy), Lu Padgett and Lois Hatfield (David); his friend Pat Stickney of Jacksonville; and his grandchildren, April Thackeray (Richard), Tracie English (Jason), Aleisha Reynolds (Jake), Nikki Page (Adrian), Eleise Myers (Timmy), Shea Stickney (Andrea), Kristopher Allen (Katy), Daniel Allen (Audra) and Amanda Wood. He is also survived by five step-grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren; ten step-great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; as well as nieces and nephews, and a host of extended family and friends.
