He was predeceased by: his parents, Selma Lee and Hattie B. Tyson Junkin; his siblings, Jerold, Danny, John Junkin, Sue Lewellen and Nellie Pace; and his son Johnny Junkin.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Junkin; his son Bobby Sherron (family: James "Jim" Junkin, Todd Sherron); and his brother Bobby Junkin. He is also survived by six grandchildren; one great grandchild and nieces and nephews.
