She was predeceased by: her parents, Audie Eugene and Bettye Smith Wade. She is survived by: her husband John M. LaRue; her son Jonathan (Hayley Wade); her grandchildren, Brynlee and Asher; her sister Crystal Ellis (Billy); and her brothers-in-law, Wesley LaRue (Gwen) and Joe LaRue (Lee). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
She was able to go to California three times to work on the Donate Life float for the Tournament of Roses Parade.
