He was predeceased by: his parents, James Holbird and Mary Holbird; his children, Aaron Michael Holbird and Shair Lynn Williams; his siblings, Chuck, Bill Holbird and Betty Hayes; and his stepson Mark Eugene LaFleur.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Kay Holbird; his sons, Larry Holbird of Imboden, Terry Holbird of Imboden and Kevin Holbird (Jammie) of Imboden; and his stepsons, Jack LaFleur (Brenda) of Ravenden Springs and Dale C. LaFleur (Kathy) of Hillsdale, Michigan. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.
