He was predeceased by: his parents, Harmon T. Powell and Imogene Winchester Powell. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith Powell; his sons, William "Bill" Powell (Janna) of Imboden and Mark Powell (Deena) of Batesville; his grandchildren, Robert "Bobby" Powell (Jenny) of Imboden, Jessie Helms (Christian) of Pocahontas, Nathan of Batesville, Sarah Grace of Batesville, Jonathan of Batesville and Moriah Powell of Batesville; his great grandchildren, Reese Carter and Jemma Powell; and his brother Gerald Powell (Connie) of Imboden.
