She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Albert and Lula Mae Watkins Sones; her husband Roy Lee Nelson; and her granddaughter Valarie Ann Chadwick. She is survived by: her children, Sharon McCrary, Stacy Nelson, Brenda Nelson, Lisa Knight (Tommy) and Michael Nelson (Amiee); her granddaughter Amber Farrish; and her friend Street. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
