With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Sloan Henry (Huttig, Arkansas), born in Magnolia, Arkansas, who passed away on August 11, 2023 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Sloan Henry and Mary Helen Henry (Gardner); and his siblings, Randy Henry and Mary Helen Mahoney. He is survived by: his wife Leytine Henry (Thornton); his children, Amy, Jason (April), Karla (Hugh), Kyle (Debra), Raymond (Carrie) and Tim Curry; his grandchildren, Josh (Brie), Lee (Lyndsey), Maggie, Zach, Caity, Adrianna, Levi (Taylor), Jacob (Julia), Savannah (Jake), Abigail (Kyler), Logan, Austin and Jaxson; and his great grandchildren, Bradleigh, Hendricks, Waylon and Erin.
Jerry requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made in his name to Arkansas Children's Hospital, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or the Union County Animal Protection Society (UCAPS).
