He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Lackey and Betty Lackey (Hollingsworth); and his siblings, Donnie Lackey and Connie Lackey Barnes. He is survived by: his sons, Marcus Lackey and Christopher Lackey; his siblings, Darrell Lackey (Peggy), Jimmy Lackey, Cathy Shipley, Judy Kloster, Shirley Nobles (Ricky), Debbie Deleporte (Arthur) and Janie Bruton (Joe); and his close friend Sandra Gulledge. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
