She was predeceased by: her husband James Ray; her brother Bill Burris; her children, David Upshaw and Carol Lynn Janes; and her great grandchild Kevin Patrick.
She is survived by: her children, Don Upshaw of Huntsville, Kathy Richart (Gary Littrell) of Forum and Bonnie McCormick of Scranton, AR; her grandchildren, David Ray Upshaw (Cassie) of Aurora, Reva McGourty (Steven) of Forum, Lonnie Upshaw (Anna) of Marion, Indiana, Dustin Brown (Kristina) of Huntsville, Justin Brown (Shanna) of Witter, Andrew Brown of Scranton, AR, Cory Brown of Charleston, AR and Elizabeth Brown of Weddington, AR.; her brothers, Hubert (Freda Burris) and Jim Burris of Kingston; and her nieces and nephews, Tim Burris (Linda) of Marble, William Burris (Marlena) of Cullman, AL, Henry Burris of Elkins, Katterina Barnhart of Kingston and Tonya Burris of Idabel, OK. She is also survived by thirty great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 20th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Brashears Funeral Home (509 N Gaskill St, Huntsville, AR 72740). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory (509 N Gaskill St, Huntsville, AR 72740).
