She was predeceased by: her parents, Olvie Lloyd and Minnie Esther Hughes (Boudrey); her former husband Jimmy Ira Davis; her sons, Johnny Ira Davis and Michael Jay Davis; and her siblings, Joel Nolan Hughes, Johnny Dale Hughes, Robert David Hughes, Larry Dean Hughes, Frances Jean Barrett, Sally Jayne Laine and Naomi Marie Holden.
She is survived by: her husband Earl C. Burkes; her children, Regenia (Harlin Houston) of Huntsville, AR, Vickie Duncan of Wesley, AR, Susan Tillery of Huntsville, AR, Sheila (Carl Sloan) of Goshen, AR and Jesse Burkes (John Stewart); and her siblings, Olvie Lloyd Hughes, Gerald Wayne Hughes and Georgi Hughes Flowers. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
