He is survived by: his wife Mary Ellen Davis (McCandless); and his daughters, Della McCandless, Felicia Ramirez (Beto), Susan Jackson (Leslie), Liz Whorton (Rick) and Janice Wall. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren.
