It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnnie Criss Sr. of Huntsville, Arkansas, who passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven A. Douglas Criss and Noma Criss (Sparks); his wife Rhoda Lorene Criss; his siblings, Lee Criss, Grover Criss, Bill Criss, Raymond Criss, Roy Criss, Mary Criss, Sarah Harderson, Rosie Cummins, Vellar Mooney and Minnie Wood; and his children-in-law, David Edgmon, Bobby Hattabaugh and Jona James.
He is survived by: his children, Ricky Criss (Johnny Criss, Jr.), Danny (Martha Criss), Patsy Edgmon of Harrison, Judy (Randy Usrey) and Sherrie Hattabaugh (Tammy Criss) of Hazel Valley; and his siblings-in-law, Norman Wood and Linda Brandenburg. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 63 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.
