He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Davis and Georgia Brooks Davis; and his brothers, Tommy Davis and Jimmy Davis. He is survived by: his wife Frances Hathorn; his son Coleman; his daughter-in-law Melissa Davis of Huntsville; his daughter Jessica; his son-in-law Kevin Sutton of Wichita, Kansas; and his sister Patsy Hooper. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
