He was predeceased by: his parents, Magdaleno Lira and Ester Lira (Barrientos). He is survived by: his wife Dolores Lira; and his daughters, Andrea Calderon (Cesar) of Elkins, Veronica Torres (George) of Elkins and Arminda Lira of Rogers. He is also survived by four brothers and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
